The king of streaming, Netflix, regularly publishes viewership data (including hours watched) for its series — and you can even explore the numbers by date.
They separate content into English-language and non-English-language series, and also distinguish between series and films.
If we take a look at the data for the latest week of English-language series, here is the top 10:
| Weekly Rank | Season title | Weekly views | Cumulative weeks in Top10 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | You: Season 5 | 10.100.000 | 1 |
| 2 | Ransom Canyon: Season 1 | 9.400.000 | 2 |
| 3 | Black Mirror: Season 7 | 4.500.000 | 3 |
| 4 | Adolescence: Limited Series | 3.800.000 | 7 |
| 5 | Raw: April 21, 2025 | 3.600.000 | 1 |
| 6 | Special Ops: Lioness: Season 1 | 3.500.000 | 2 |
| 7 | A Discovery of Witches: Season 1 | 2.700.000 | 2 |
| 8 | Ms. Rachel: Season 1 | 2.300.000 | 9 |
| 9 | PULSE: Season 1 | 2.000.000 | 4 |
| 10 | You: Season 1 | 1.800.000 | 8 |
Without a doubt, the big winner is the series You, which tops the Top 10 with its fifth season — and also closes it with season one. Black Mirror, which just released its seventh season, is also in the top 3, but it’s clear it no longer has the same impact as its early seasons, which once dominated the charts and were considered among Netflix’s best shows.
Adolescence continues to post strong numbers, now spending seven consecutive weeks in the Top 10, a streak only surpassed by Ms. Rachel season 1, which has been on the list for nine weeks.
This week, the most-watched English-language series on Netflix was season 5 of You. Ramson Canyon, Black Mirror, and Adolescence are also enjoying strong success.
